As we head into the final part of the holiday season, I wanted to pop into your inbox with something a little different this week.

The holidays can be a beautiful time - full of warmth, connection, lights, and laughter. But for many, it can also be overwhelming, lonely, or just… a lot. Sensory overload. Family tensions. Financial pressure. Social expectations. Grief.

If that’s you, please know you’re not alone. Whether you’re counting down the days or quietly waiting for it to be over, I hope you get something from this season that feels right for you. Rest. Space. Joy. Permission to do things differently. Whatever that looks like, it’s right for you.

Before signing off for my little holiday break, I just want to say a big thank you.

To everyone who’s worked with me or the team at Differing Minds this year - thank you for trusting us to support your organisations, schools, and communities. We never take it for granted.

To those of you who read this newsletter, whether every week or now and then, thank you for caring about neuroinclusion. Your curiosity, compassion, and willingness to challenge the status quo is what keeps this work going. On the hard days, it’s that care that keeps me going too.

And to everyone who replies to share your thoughts, stories, or even just to say you enjoyed it: your words mean the world. Truly.

Wishing you peace, space, and whatever kind of holiday you need,

Jess
